    Bernard/Wszolek

    CAPE MAY, N.J. -- Kari Bernard of Philadelphia and Steve Wszolek of Runnemede, N.J., were united in marriage on Jan. 6, 2007, at Guardian of the Sea Chapel by Robert Steenrod.

    The bride is the daughter of Allan and Marianne Bernard of Annapolis, Md., formerly of Rye, N.H. She earned a B.A. at the University of New Hampshire and her M.S. in medical illustration from the Medical College of Georgia. She is the art program manager for a medical publishing company.

    The groom, the son of Steve and Kathy Wszolek of Philadelphia, earned a B.A. in business administration. He is a transit police officer.

    Jennifer Darcy of Richmond, Va., a friend of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The groom's grandfather, Mike Wszolek of Langehorn, Pa., served as the best man.

    A reception following the ceremony was held at the Victorian Hotel Alcott. After a honeymoon in Los Angeles and Arizona, the couple resides in Runnemede, N.J.


    Fernald/Boom

    Scott and Denise Fernald of Manassas, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle A. Fernald of Manassas, to Gregory Nathan Boom of North Monmouth, Maine.

    Fernald will graduate in May 2007 from the University of Maine. She is currently a biology teacher at the secondary level. Fernald's paternal grandparents are Arthur E. and the late Jean B. Fernald of York, Maine.

    Boom, son of Gregory and Selena Boom of North Monmouth, is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine. He is currently employed with the Wal-Mart Management Program.

    An Aug. 12, 2007, wedding is planned in Northeast Harbor, Maine.


    Gordon/Nadeau

    Patricia Elaine Gordon and Troy Shawn Nadeau, both of Portsmouth, were married Nov. 25, 2006, in a double-ring ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Corpus Christi Parish, in Portsmouth. The Rev. Michael Kerper presided.

    The bride is the daughter of Lorraine Gordon of Portsmouth and is employed by SI International Inc., National Visa Center, in Portsmouth.

    The groom is the son of Donald Nadeau of Rochester and Patricia Nadeau of Dover. He is employed by Tyco Telecommunications.

    The mothers of the bride and groom served as attendants for their children, and the reading was given by Lorraine Gordon.

    The wedding party and family dined at Rosa's Restaurant after the ceremony. The couple now live in Portsmouth.


    Richdale/Bilodeau

    Sarah Elizabeth Richdale and Philip Benjamin Bilodeau, both of East Rochester, were wed in a double ring ceremony Sept. 23, 2006, at Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough. Spencer Richdale, the father of the bride and a justice of the peace, officiated.

    The bride is the daughter of Spencer and Priscilla Richdale of Manchester. She earned a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. from New England College. She is employed as a mental health clinician at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

    The groom is the son of Philip and Joan Bilodeau of Deerfield. He attended the University of Montana and is the manager of the Portsmouth Brewery.

    Amíee Roberson of Eaton, sister of the groom, served as the matron of honor.

    Brian Chase of Washington, D.C., a friend of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Jonathan Richdale of Manchester, the bride's brother, and Matt Robertson of Eaton, the groom's brother-in-law.

    Stephanie Chea of Barrington was the guest book attendant.

    After the reception at Castle in the Clouds, the couple honeymooned in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. They now live in their own home in East Rochester.


    Robie/O'Brien

    Lisa Hopkins Robie of Portsmouth and Dr. Kevin Michael O'Brien of Hampton were married July 16, 2006, in a ceremony performed by William S. Boesch at Wentworth By the Sea Country Club in Rye.

    Robie is the daughter of Jane Robie of Hampton and Donald Robie of Kensington. She is employed as a first-grade teacher at Newmarket Elementary School.

    O'Brien is the son of Michael O'Brien of Lawrence, Mass., and the late Theresa O'Brien. He is a board-certified chiropractic neurologist with a private practice in Methuen, Mass.

    The couple traveled to Italy for their honeymoon and now live in Hampton.
